Yes, what is IP Address or rather an IP Address or Internet Protocol Address?

An IP Address is a number that identifies each sender or receiver of information that is sent in packets across the Internet.

When Mack click on a link to go to one of Sarah's pages, his request and Sarah's website server reply goes back and forth in little packets of information. Each packet will have his IP Address and her IP Address, so the link can be kept alive between Mack and Sarah's browsers.
Tip: You can sometimes look at many webpages simultaneously on many tabs in your browser without slowing your connection down because these packets still move at the same speed, but just slot in the gaps left between packets.

Most IP Addresses today is based on IPv4 which is a 32-bit number that identifies every 'sender/reciever information' packets on the Internet. IPv6 is now needed as the massive number of new Internet addresses need the 128-bit number system.

There is no two IP Addresses that are the same at any one time, not for any of the millions and millions of web pages on the Internet.

Static IP Address means that your IP stays the same every time you log on, Dynamic IP Address means you get a random IP from your server when you log on. So your IP may change from day to day.
